To alleviate
physical, emotional and spiritual pain and to control the accompanying
symptoms so that our patients
may live with dignity as fully and comfortably as he or she
determines during the remainder of life until the time of death.
To enable the primary caregivers, family and friends to provide supportive
and loving care to the patient wherever he or she resides and is most
content.
To enable families and caregivers to deal with their grief and loss,
and to provide support during their time of bereavement.
